Bar Backs was born from a simple conviction: most places treat coffee and cocktails as afterthoughts. We decided to treat them as disciplines.

On one side of the bar, you'll find single-origin coffees roasted locally, pulled on calibrated equipment, and poured by people who know the difference between a good shot and a great one. On the other, our cocktail program builds drinks from scratch — house-infused spirits, fresh-pressed juices, and bitters we make in-house.

We're not in the business of volume. We're in the business of attention. Every drink that leaves this bar has been considered, crafted, and presented with the same standard — whether it costs $4 or $14.

The space is half the story. We designed Bar Backs to feel like a place that exists for a reason — not a chain with a different name, not a trend that will fade.

Dark walnut bar tops. Brass accents that age gracefully. Lighting that makes your drink look better than it has any right to. Seating that works whether you're here for twenty minutes or two hours.

The music is loud enough to feel alive but quiet enough to talk. The Wi-Fi is fast. The outlet behind your seat is real. We've thought about the things that make a difference when you're settling in.
